Who we are
Silurian Consulting LTD, trading as Silurian PM, is the controller of personal information described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17415387. Our registered office is 22 Gelliwastad Road, Pontypridd, CF37 2BW.
Information we collect
If you contact us, we may collect your name, contact details, organisation and any information you include in your correspondence. Our website hosting provider may also process limited technical information, such as IP addresses, browser details and request logs, to deliver and secure the site.
How we use information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- Enquiries and business relationships: to respond to enquiries, discuss potential work and manage services for client organisations. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating the business and maintaining client relationships.
- Contracts with individuals: to take steps you request before entering into a contract with you, or to fulfil that contract.
- Legal requirements: to maintain records and meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations.
- Website security: to keep the website secure and functioning, based on our legitimate interest in protecting the site and its visitors.
Sharing information
We may share personal information with service providers supporting our website hosting, email and business administration. We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this occurs, we rely on an applicable adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to manage enquiries, deliver services and meet relevant legal, accounting or contractual requirements. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months of the last substantive contact, unless we agree to keep in touch.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our website and to help improve its content and usability.
The service collects information such as pages visited, referring websites, approximate location, and browser and device type. Vercel provides aggregated statistics and does not use cookies for this analytics service.
Vercel uses a temporary identifier derived from incoming requests to distinguish visitors. This identifier is discarded after 24 hours. This does not mean that all analytics statistics are deleted after 24 hours.
